Don't loot Oyo State treasury empty - Oyo ACN warns Akala

The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Oyo State and its leader, Alhaji Lam Adesina, have raised the alarm over an alleged mindless looting of the state’s treasury by the outgoing governor, Adebayo Alao-Akala, and chairmen of local governments at the twilight of the administration.







It also accused the Alao-Akala administration of recruiting people without following the laid down process.
The ACN, in a statement by the party’s Director of Publicity, Mr Mathew Oyedokun, said reports from nearly all the local governments across the state indicated indisciminate looting of the treasury with a view to starving the incoming administration of funds to run the state.
But Alao-Akala advised the ACN to wait till it takes over on May 29 before confirming its allegations.
