Nigerian Pastor stabbed a Ghanaian Prostitute because of extra round

“He hired me for a short time at a cost of GH¢10. After the first round, he didn’t want to get up and so I told him to pay additional money before I could allow him to enter again.
In the process of our struggle, he broke a Guinness bottle and attempted to stab me with it.”
These were the words of a 19-year-old prostitute who was nearly stabbed with a broken bottle by a self-styled evangelist client in their hotel room yesterday morning around 4am.
The supposed man of God, Evangelist Okpala Ogugua Martins, 22, a Nigerian from Anambra State, currently in the grips of the Adabraka police, succeeded in inflicting multiples wounds on his victim with the broken bottle.
Briefing DAILY GUIDE, the Crime Officer in charge of the Adabraka District Police Command, ASP Ebenezer Nketiah, noted that the police received a phone call from the receptionist of the hotel (name withheld) that a man had attempted to murder a lady in their hotel.
“When we got to the hotel room around 4:30am, we succeeded in arresting the suspect who was still having in his hands the broken bottle and brought him together with the lady prostitute to the station.”
Upon interrogation, the lady 19, and a native of Bantama in the Ashanti region who resides in Kasoa, said Evangelist Okpala Ogugua hired her services at Kwame Nkrumah Circle around 4am for a short time at a fee of GH¢10.
After their first round, the evangelist wanted to go for an additional round so the victim told him to add more money before he would be permitted.
He noted that the suspect wanted to use force and after it failed, he threatened to kill the lady with a broken Guinness bottle if she did not allow him to go for an additional round.
In the process of their struggle, the victim sustained multiple wounds on the hands and the mouth.
The crime officer said the suspect was yet to be put before court for trial.
He advised young ladies to desist from prostitution which could lead them to trouble.
“Hotel owners should also be wary of the kind of people they accept into their facility.”
Meanwhile, in an interview with the suspect, Okpala Ogugua, DAILY GUIDE gathered that he arrived from Nigeria to visit a friend in Ghana. When he came, he could not locate the friend and so tried to satisfy his sexual desires by hiring the services of the prostitute at Kwame Nkrumah Circle.
The suspect said he actually bought his own condoms and did not use that of the lady’s.
He said he was married with twins, a boy and a girl, all in Nigeria.
The victim also told DAILY GUIDE that she was a prostitute who travelled from Kumasi to Accra to test the market.
She charges GH¢10 per round from clients without any reduction.
