Cultists rape 2 students and post their nude pics on Facebook
Two ladies suspected to be students of the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State were allegedly raped by some members of a secret cult and their nude pictures posted on the social-network site, Facebook. The development led to a violent attack among warring cult groups in the town leaving at least two students of the university dead, and paralyzing commercial activities in Ijebu-Ode and its environs. The female students, who were alleged to be members of the cult group, Red Rose, were said to have been abducted and taken into a nearby bush where they were raped. A witness told Daily Trust that trouble started when parents of the raped students saw the pictures on Face book, and reported the matter to the police which prompted them to invade the school to arrest the alleged perpetrators. “When the police arrived the school, the cultists were sitting close to the old gate of the university.
