A 6th grader has reportedly been apprehended for writing a note that contained a threat to commit a school shooting – the pupil is from Davie, Florida which is close to Parkland, Florida. Adding to the tragedy and fear surrounding the Florida community, and the country as a whole, the news comes only a day after the tragic school shooting by a 19-year-old male killing 17 people. The girl claims another student forced her to place the note under the office door to the assistant principal and according to the police report, the 11-year-old can be seen on a surveillance video placing the handwritten under the door. The student has produced a written confession after being confronted by authorities who say the girl was visually upset and crying as she was being questioned. Coordinator of the Benue State chapter of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), an umbrella body of Fulani herdsmen in Nigerian, Alhaji Garius Gololo, has revealed why his people worship cows. Speaking in an interview with Saturday Sun, Gololo said apart from God, herdsmen also worship whatever is their major source of livelihood. “Why won’t you worship what you are gaining from? They worship God, but they depend on their cow. If you want to marry, it’s from that cow; if you are going to the hospital, it’s from that cow, if you want to eat, it’s from that cow. “So, for people to say Fulani worship cows, its clear; they must, because it’s from it they eke a living. According to the report, the SARS commander was killed when he and his men tried disarming the herdsmen, who residents in the area say have been terrorising them. More than 100 killed in Jos twin blast

Twin car bombs that exploded at a crowded bus terminal and market in Nigeria's central city of Jos have killed at least 118 people, the country's emergency agency said.
