Authentic information emerging from the camp of Winstar Records, the artiste's label, reveals that the Buga crooner is finally set to launch his third album. It was gathered that the album entitled Rooted includes a hit single featuring the uber-talented Project Fame West Africa, Yetunde Orijah, popularly known as Omo Ibadan. Providing more details about the album, Bolaji Bakare, Creative Director, Winstar Records, disclosed that the artiste is currently in the US where he is putting finishing touches to the album. Alhaji Lam Adesina The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Oyo State and its leader, Alhaji Lam Adesina, have raised the alarm over an alleged mindless looting of the state’s treasury by the outgoing governor, Adebayo Alao-Akala, and chairmen of local governments at the twilight of the administration. It also accused the Alao-Akala administration of recruiting people without following the laid down process. The ACN, in a statement by the party’s Director of Publicity, Mr Mathew Oyedokun, said reports from nearly all the local governments across the state indicated indisciminate looting of the treasury with a view to starving the incoming administration of funds to run the state. But Alao-Akala advised the ACN to wait till it takes over on May 29 before confirming its allegations.

Mr Igho, a recharge card trader, on April 17, 2011 allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a well in his father’s compound at 3 Fashola Close, Ejigbo, Lagos.
