Eminem's song publisher is suing Facebook and an ad agency, saying they copied music from one of the rapper's songs. Eight Mile Style filed a federal lawsuit in Detroit on Monday alleging that a 30-second Facebook ad broadcast online last month copied music from Eminem's 2000 song "Under the Influence." The Detroit Free Press ( ) reports that the ad was featured in a webcast by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to announce Facebook Home, an interface for Android phones. The complaint says Portland, Ore., ad agency Wieden+Kennedy copied Eminem's music "in an effort to curry favor" with Facebook by catering to Zuckerberg's personal likes and to "invoke the same irreverent theme" of the song. Facebook spokesman Andrew Noyes declined comment. A message seeking comment was left Tuesday with the ad agency.

A general manager (name withheld) of one of the fuel stations in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital was yesterday shot dead by gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram members. According to news reports, the gunmen supposedly laid ambush on the deceased in Ajilari/Railway crossing ward of Maiduguri metropolis and shot him dead as he headed for his house after performing the Magrib prayers at a nearby Mosque some minutes to 7pm. Dr Joseph Natsah of General Hospital Kachia in Kaduna State, has advised youths against tobacco smoking, saying it leads to impotence. Natsah said in an interview on Tuesday in Kaduna that tobacco smoking results in low spêrm count, weak erêction and impotence.He warned girls involved in smoking to desist from the habit as it would also prevent them from either conceiving or having still birth. Natsah said tobacco smoke generally has adverse effect on every organ of the body, including the immune system. The medical practitioner listed some of the conditions generated by smoking to include coronary and heart disease, as well as breathlessness and influenza,He also said that smoking causes cancer, such as leukaemia, cancer of the bladder, throat and stomach.
