Lady stabs her boyfriend for refusing to buy her a beer!
In New Mexico a woman allegedly stabbed her boyfriend in the arm after he refused to buy her another beer. Alexa Money Rodriguez, 22, was furious with her boyfriend after he wouldn’t buy her a 40-ounce bottle of Olde English 800 malt liquor.
Rodriguez was arrested after slashing him with a 14-inch knife on Thursday, according to the Doña Ana Sheriff’s office, the New York Daily News reports.
Police were called to the house where the stabbing allegedly happened at around 5:30 p.m., the San Cruces Sun-News reports. She also threw a three-pound weight at her boyfriend, along with hitting him in the back with a TV tray and chair, the sheriff’s office spokeswoman Kelly Jameson told the San Cruces Sun – News.
Rodriguez fled the scene after stabbing her boyfriend but was arrested soon after on charges of aggravated assault and battery against a household member with a deadly weapon. Her bond was set at $15,000 cash, the New York Daily News reports.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and treated for non life-threatening injuries, the Daily News reports.
The victim, who just moved to Las Cruces three months ago, was transported by ambulance to an area hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.
