Asaba Set To Host First Edition Of Delta Fashion And Style Week 2018
In our efforts at encouraging and promoting creativity in Delta state and beyond, the city of Asaba, is set to host the first edition of Delta fashion and Style Week 2018 . The fashion week is aimed at building a platform for aspiring, emerging and renowned fashion designers in Delta state and beyond to showcase exquisite and creative pieces depicting our Deltan heritage and culture through fashion style and also build fashion homes in Delta State. The theme of this edition is “Display of African Creativity” which is intended to showcase the creativity by hundreds of ingenious Nigerian fashion designers. We have seen so many young people in Nigeria being able to lift themselves out of adverse situations and build sustainable livings for themselves and their families through fashion, and our main focus is on using fashion as an instrument of sustainability and of social change in our environment.
